Mr. Thian Chew is Chairman & CEO of Invion Limited, a life-sciences company leading the global research and development of next-generation technology, for the treatment of a range of cancers, as well as atherosclerosis and infectious diseases.

In addition to his role at Invion, Thian serves as the Executive Chairman of Chronic Airway Therapeutics, a clinical-stage company dedicated to developing innovative therapies for chronic airway diseases. His expertise and strategic guidance contribute to the advancement of healthcare solutions in this specialised field.

Before his current endeavours, Thian held prominent positions at renowned global institutions. As the Managing Partner at Polar Ventures, he leverages his extensive experience to identify and nurture promising ventures. Additionally, his tenure as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs (New York, Hong Kong) showcased his expertise in proprietary investments, highlighting his ability to navigate complex financial landscapes. He also spent a decade at KPMG Consulting taking several roles across Asia Pacific including leading several operational restructuring and business performance improvement programs.

He holds an MBA, Wharton School (Palmer Scholar), MA, Lauder Institute, Uni. Pennsylvania, and B. Information Systems, Monash University. Mr. Chew is also an Adjunct Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology’s Schools of Business as well as Life Sciences.
