Having held senior global roles across a wide range of professions, Thomas now heads corporate affairs for GreenLight Biosciences, a cutting-edge and purpose-driven biotech startup recently listed on Nasdaq (GRNA) and focused on novel applications of RNA at scale.
Thomas is the leadership team member responsible for stewardship of GreenLight’s reputation - and that of RNA itself - through engagement with a wide range of crucial external stakeholders, including investors, partners, governments, customers and the general public.
Immediately prior to GreenLight Thomas brought The Commons Project Foundation, a non-profit, tech-for-good startup, to global prominence in media coverage worldwide for its high-profile, multi-stakeholder digital initiatives to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Prior to that, Thomas launched, scaled and led a range of global agency teams of up to 1,000+ staff across 73 offices worldwide. These teams focussed on consulting or execution of digital transformation, marketing, social media and communications out of Ogilvy & Mather, Ogilvy Consulting and Edelman. Clients included MSD Merck, Philips, McKinsey, Nestlé, Samsung and many more.
A frequent public speaker, he has delivered keynote speeches at many leading events and universities, including the World Economic Forum in Davos, SXSW, Cannes Lions, DLD, Stanford University, Tokyo University and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
