Jessica Ogilvie

Co-founder & Managing Director
,
Unsensible

Jess leads our team as Managing Director. Her pragmatic approach to strategic communication helps founders focus resources on the few right things that will make the biggest impact, rather than getting lost in any attempts to boil an ocean.

Her most recent work saw Jess working closely with the founder of a leading health tech company in Hong Kong, to guide the direction of a new joint venture between one of the largest health companies and the largest web 3 company Hong Kong.

Known as the CEO whisperer, her background in stakeholder communication, Jess has been helping leaders bring more empathy, clarity and meaning to their messages for the past 16 years. Born with a built-in “BS detector”, Jess helps new CEOs focus their ideas to build messages that connect with investors, teams and customers alike.

Jess joined Unsensible from Jardine Matheson, where she was Head of Group Internal Communication looking after the Group’s leadership, HR and change communication activities. Before this, Jess managed Southeast Asia’s internal and external communication for Rolls-Royce plc. Jess’s return to consultancy brings her full circle from her days at Ogilvy where she spent more than seven years with their PR teams in Australia and Singapore.

When she’s not taking copious amounts of notes on her favourite gridded notepads, Jess is either studying for her seventh attempt at beginner’s Mandarin or taking song requests from a strongly opinionated three-year-old.
