Denise Ho is the founder of KITDO, an innovative fashion accessory company revolutionising how we interact with our wardrobes. Growing up in a fashion-forward family—her mother was a buyer for Jean Paul Gaultier in the early '90s—Ho's journey in fashion began at an early age, leading her to study Apparel Design at the Rhode Island School of Design.
With an 18-year career as a fashion stylist, Denise's work has taken her from New York to London, where she worked with prominent publications under the mentorship of renowned stylist Sarah Richardson. Her extensive experience on fashion shoots, where she witnessed countless designer pieces damaged by traditional safety pins, sparked the innovation that would become KITDO—a magnetic styling accessory that transforms how people wear and re-wear their clothes.
Before KITDO, Denise's entrepreneurial spirit led her to launch several ventures, including A for Apple, a childrenswear brand that collaborated with Opening Ceremony and was stocked in Barneys, and KNOTTI, a social impact slow fashion brand that employed women from low-income families to create handmade knitwear. Her commitment to sustainability in fashion stems from her work with Redress, where she gained deep insights into supply chain sustainability.
Under Denise's leadership, KITDO has won five international design awards and is expanding globally, particularly in the European market. Her innovation addresses a striking statistic she uncovered: people typically wear only 10-20% of their wardrobe. Through KITDO, Denise aims to help people rediscover and reimagine their existing clothes, promoting both style and sustainability in the fashion industry.
